Common questions
Can I use a universal charger on the 500 Series?
Only use one that outputs 54.6V and has the Ride1Up plug. Never use a charger with a different voltage.
How do I know my charger is bad?
Common signs: the charger light stays the same color (or never lights) when plugged into the e-bike, the battery never reaches full, the brick gets very hot or smells burnt, or a multimeter reads no voltage (or far below the rated output) at the plug. Also check the cable and plug pins for damage.
Where can I buy a replacement charger for the Ride1Up 500 Series?
Ride1Up's official store, eBay, or the other store listed above have the charger shown on this page.
