Match the voltage on your old charger's label. 36V batteries use 42V chargers, 48V use 54.6V and 52V use 58.8V. These can share the same plug, so check the volts before you buy. Voltage guide

Can I use a universal charger on the Quick-E+?

No. The Quick-E+ uses the Giant EnergyPak system and needs a Giant EnergyPak charger. Generic chargers don't fit.

How do I know my charger is bad?

Common signs: the charger light stays the same color (or never lights) when plugged into the e-bike, the battery never reaches full, the brick gets very hot or smells burnt, or a multimeter reads no voltage (or far below the rated output) at the plug. Also check the cable and plug pins for damage.
